Description
English: Says "I became notorious in the latter part of the Civil War" and says that he is stereotyped because of it. Discusses the office of the presidency, and states that it has no attraction to him. Briefly discusses the administrations of Zachary Taylor, Abraham Lincoln, and Ulysses S. Grant, and concludes that the office is "beyond human endurance."
