Summary[edit]

Description
English: Live imaging of the developing notochord in a Cecyil embryo. Optical slices of a mid-sagittal section of the posterior portion are shown. The G1/S transition of notochordal cells is demonstrated by a fluorescence color switch of red to green. The G1/S transition window travels posteriorly along the body axis. Left to anterior, right to posterior. Dorsal to up, ventral to bottom.
