Description
English: On 8 January 1967 Troop 'B' 3rd Squadron 4th Cavalry, 25th Infantry Division joined in Operation Cedar Falls as a blocking force along the Saigon River in the Filhol Plantation approximately 12 miles north west of Cu Chi, the troops['] base camp, which is 27 miles north west of Saigon. Sp/4 David L. Eller (Nottingham, Pennsylvania) hands a round of ammo to SP/4 Jean H. Keys (Bentonville, Arkansas) assistant gunner who will fire the 4.2 inch mortar M84. NARA 111-CCV-345-CC38104
