| Description |
c/n 18-2444 Built for the US military with the serial 42-55983. Sold off in 1946, her civilian career began in the US as NC69898 but in 1976 she was sold to Finland and used on surveying work with the registrations OH-MAP and later OH-SIR. In September 1985 she was registered as G-BMEW to Aces High in the UK, but in 1986 became N283M and after a deal involving Tacar Systems she finally came to Norway in September 1986 for preservation. Fully restored, she has been painted to represent an aircraft operated by the British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) during WW2 and flown on the service between Stockholm, in neutral Sweden, and Leuchars in Scotland.
