| Description |
c/n 683-9010 Built 1963 by SABCA at Gosselies in Belgium. Not quite what she seems! This seemingly honest Norwegian F-104 is actually an ex-West German Air Force machine painted to represent an F-104G of 331 squadron. In Luftwaffe service it was originally KH+110, then JA+246, JD+258 and finally 25+64. It was retired and on display at the entrance to Bodø Air Base by at least November 1977. The original 12626, c/n 4026, arrived in Norway in August 1963 and was renumbered as 626 in 1972. It was returned to USAF control in 1981 and passed briefly through RAF Sculthorpe while on its way to Turkey, where it flew with the Turkish Air Force as 61-2626 until retired in 1988 and scrapped.
