Description
English: Looking south from the westbound Long Island Expressway (Queens-Midtown Expressway) at the inscription on the north face of the Blanchard Building (21-10 51st Avenue / 21-09 Borden Avenue), now part of The Point LIC complex, at 21st Street and 51st Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. The building's namesake and developer was late 1800s/early 1900s businessman John Franklin Blanchard.
