| Description |
English: Standing mid-block near the corner of C Street SW and 2nd Street SW, looking north-northeast at the construction site of the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial in Washington, D.C., in the United States. The wall being poured (surrounded by wood construction frames) constitutes the northern portion of the "Wall of Gratitude". To the left of it will be the star-shaped fountain. The Hubert H. Humphrey U.S. Department of Health and Human Services building is to the left; the U.S. Botanic Garden is in the middle background; and the Rayburn House Office Building is to the right background. That's the U.S. Capitol in the distance. |
