Description
English: Trüschel's Colony (Trüschels Kolonie) in Lübben, Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald, Brandenburg, Germany. Most parts of it are listed cultural heritage monuments.
Deutsch: Die Siedlung Trüschels Kolonie an der Frankfurter Straße in Lübben, Landkreis Dahme-Spreewald, Brandenburg, Deutschland. Die Anlage geht auf den Fabrikanten Arthur Trüschel zurück, der sie 1918 bis 1922 als Heimstättensiedlung für die Fabrikarbeiter, vor allem für diejenigen, die als Invaliden aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg heimkehrten, bauen ließ. Die Pläne dafür schufen das Architekturbüro Heider aus Berlin-Charlottenburg sowie der Bildhauer und Gartenarchitekt Bourbott. Zwei Bauensembles, die späteren Häuser Frankfurter Straße 1 bis 3 und die späteren Häuser Frankfurter Straße 3 und 13, mit Kolonnaden versehen, lenken den Blick auf den zentralen Punkt der Anlage, den sogenannten Platz mit einem Springbrunnen, gestaltet von Bourbott. Der Großteil von Trüschels Kolonie' steht heute unter Denkmalschutz.
