Deutsch: Verbandsabzeichen (Replik) Luftsturmregiment 40 der NVA Fallschirmtruppe des Fallschirmjäger-Traditionsverband Ost e.V.. Das Originalabzeichen bis 1990 hatte statt der Schwinge das Hammer- und Zirkelsymbol über dem kreisförmigen Emblem in Schwarz-rot-gold.
English: Corps badge (Replica) of the National People's Army parachute troops "40th Air Assault Regiment”, as symbol of theFallschirmjäger-Traditionsverband Ost e.V.. Until 1990 on the original badge there was the GDR Hammer and Circle symbol over the Black-red-gold instead of the wings.
