Summary[edit]

Description
English: Lord Buddha, known as light of Asia, and the founder of Buddhism was born here. It is believed that, we took 7 steps as soon as he was born. Those steps' imprints are still preserved inside this temple, known as 'Mayadevi Mandir' in Nepali.
