Deutsch: Denkmal zur Erinnerung an die im Ersten und Zweiten Weltkrieg gefallenen Schüler und Lehrer der École Saint-Jean in Freiburg. Bei den Verstorbenen handelt es sich um Franzosen, die während eines Weltkrieges verstarben.
Depicted people Unter den eingemeisselten Namen findet sich auch jener von Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, der 1915 bis 1917 in Freiburg die École de la Villa Saint-Jean besuchte. Diese Schule hatte bei Frankreichs Elite einen guten Ruf. Die Mutter von Antoine schickte ihre beiden Söhne in diese Schule, weil sie ihre Söhne vor dem Dienst in der französischen Armee schützen wollte.
