Description
Deutsch: Karlsruhe. Das Mühlburger Tor zwischen 1863 und 1874, aus südwestlicher Blickrichtung gesehen. Das Tor wurde 1817 errichtet, die Torpfeiler 1842 von Friedrich Theodor Fischer. Die wappentragende Greife wurden nach 1862 aufgesetzt. Erkennbar ist, dass das Tor tatsächlich eine Torfunktion besaß und geschlossen werden konnte.
Links ist ein Teil des nördlichen Torhäuschens erkennbar. Rechts daneben im Hintergrund ist das Pfründnerhaus erkennbar. In der Bildmitte befindet sich der Kaiserplatz, links davon die Stephanienstraße. Die Kaiserstraße ist rechts neben dem Platz zu erkennen.
