View of the so-called Division II, a 1912 extension of the ceramics factory Société Céramique in Maastricht, the Netherlands.

Summary[edit]

Description
Nederlands: Gezicht vanuit het oosten (Heugemerweg?) op de in 1912 nieuw gebouwde Division II van de aardewerkfabriek Société Céramique in Maastricht. Van Division II is alleen een fragment bewaard gebleven, de Wiebengahal, zo genoemd naar de ontwerper-constructeur Jan Gerko Wiebenga. Links het pompstation van de Gemeentelijke Waterleiding, waarvan slechts een herinneringsplaquette aan de Heugemerweg resteert. De plank op de voorgrond ligt mogelijk over de Heugemer Overlaat (Maastrichts: Lankwater). De identiteit van de man is niet bekend. Mogelijk inspecteerde hij het terrein voor de in 1928 gerealiseerde uitbreiding van het fabriekscomplex, Division III.
