Description
Nederlands: Aanleg van de hoofdwaterleiding door de Maas in Maastricht in 1886. Op de voorgrond Sint Pieter. Op de achtergrond de aardewerkfabriek van de Société Céramique. Ten zuiden van die fabriek bouwde de Rotterdamse Waterleiding Expoitatie-Maatschappij een pompstation. Aan de Heugemerweg bevindt zich daarvan nog een gedenksteen ingemetseld in de fabrieksmuur van de Société Céramique.
