Description
Nederlands: Detail van een gezicht op het centrum van Maastricht vanuit het zuidoosten, vanaf het westwerk van de Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk. De grote huizen op de voorgrond stonden aan de Hondstraat (beide gesloopt). Achter het rechthuis de puntgevel van de Lutherse Kerk. Daarachter de eveneens verdwenen kapel van het Reparatricenklooster aan de Kapoenstraat. Op de achtergrond twee in de jaren 1970 gesloopte kloosterkerken, beide met dakruiter: links de Tweede Jezuïetenkerk; rechts de Derde Franciscanenkerk. Opname op de dag van het bombardement op Luik van 9 augustus 1914. Fotocollectie RHCL Maastricht, GAM F_ALBUM 52_00002.
