English: Connected to Fig 4A–4C : Rab11 is directly and dynamically recruited to macropinosomes. Dextran pulse chase live imaging experiment. Cells transfected with Rab11-GFP and galectin-3-mOrange were infected with S. flexneri in the presence of dextran Alexa Fluor 647. After 22 minutes dextran was washed out and live imaging was initiated. Channels are from left to right- Rab11-GFP, dextran Alexa Fluor 647, galectin-3-mOrange, composite. Scale bar is 5 μm. |
