Summary

English: Scenes from Trachina rail pass, at Fthiotis perfecture, some kilometers south of Lamia city. Main line traffic in the afternoon and by night near the rail stop of Vardates, known as "Trachina stop" due to the ancient city standing on the top of the hill. This part of the main line is one of the most breathtaking landscape of the mountainous part. ADtranz/Bombardier DE2000 and AEG dmu on IC and local-express trains to and from Thessaloniki, pass from this wonderful mountainous part of the line.
