Summary
[edit]DescriptionMarcescent dudleya.jpg |
English: Marcescent dudleya (dudleya cymosa subsp. marcescens) is federally listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act. While it’s still too early to fully understand long-term impacts of these fires, we do know that significant portions of habitat have been burned for several rare species across the Santa Monica Mountains and surrounding areas. When it is safe to do so, we will work with our partners and other land managers to survey portions of burned areas so that we can have a better understanding of the fate of these rare species.
