| Description |
English: This is an outcrop of the upper beds (in proper stratigraphic order) of the Marquenas Formation. This is a pebble to cobble conglomerate, though clasts are not easily visible here. The Marquenas Formation was deposited about 1.45 billion years ago in the Pilar Basin during the Picuris Orogeny, based on dendritic zircon geochronology. |
