Summary[edit]

Description
English: J.S. Lee & Sons locomotive known as "Coffee Pot".

Built by Thomas Green & Sons of Manchester as No. 1272 of 1883. In 1942 the boiler was replaced by a diesel engine. The photo was probably taken at Leesville.

This image was scanned from an original glass plate or negative, kindly provided by the Australian Railway Historical Society, New South Wales Division.
