Deutsch: Eine vornehm gekleidete junge Frau spielt auf einer Laute. Sie trägt ein rotes, Kleid aus Samt und auf dem Kopf eine Haube, einen goldenen Ring am Finger ihrer rechten Hand und filigrane Kette mit einem aufwändig gearbeiteten, mit Perlen und Rubinen besetzten Anhänger. Die Dame blickt auf ein aufgeschlagenes Liedheft auf dem Tisch vor ihr. Das kostbare Gefäßes in der Nische links wird sowohl als Salbgefäß der Maria Magdalena gedeutet als auch als rein dekoratives Element im Bild.
