Description Retired U.S. Rear Admiral Maxwell F. Leslie attends the commissioning ceremony for the guided missile frigate USS McClusky (FFG-41) at Todd Pacific Shipyards Co., Los Angeles Division, San Pedro, California (USA), on 10 December 1982. Leslie and Rear Admiral Clarence W. McClusky led successful dive bomber attacks against Japanese aircraft carriers during the Battle of Midway on 4 June 1942.
