English: Typhoon Maysak is tracking west-northwestward toward the Philippines. The storm will remain in favorable environmental conditions and is expected to increase in intensity over the next 24 hours. Maysak should begin to encounter more pronounced vertical wind shear, marginal sea surface temperatures and interactions with land topography as the storm approaches the northern islands of the Philippines.
