Ramjee Condajee, 1st Coy 4th Bombay Garrison Artillery. silver medal; ornamental swiveling suspender; with ribbon obverse- diademed head of Queen Victoria with the legend VICTORIA REGINA reverse- Major-General Sir Walter Gilbert on horseback receiving the surrender of the Sikhs; in the background is a hill with a large palm tree on it; inscription around top- TO THE ARMY OF THE PUNJAB; dated in exergue- MDCCCXLIX ribbon- dark blue with yellow stripe near each edge named on edge- 2ND. H.A. RAMJEE CONDAJEE. 1ST COMPY. 4TH. B.GA. markings- obverse- medallist's name below VR shoulder- W.WYON R.A.
