Title
Medieval : Toilet implement
Description
English: A cast copper alloy object, which appears to be a toilet implement – namely an ear scoop.

The object has a conical terminal, decorated with two sets of parallel incised rings. This cone would presumably once have held a wooden shaft. Extending out from the apex of the cone is a circular section strip, which terminated with the shallow, but wide ear scoop-like fitting. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour.

This object appears to be medieval, but an earlier date can not be ruled out.
