Medieval Coin: Penny of Edward III to Henry IV
Description
English: An incomplete and worn Medieval silver penny of Edward III (1327-1377) to Henry IV (1399-1413), minted at London (North 1991: 45-67).

The coin is too worn to give an accurate identification.

Obverse: [ ]X (double saltire stop) AnGL[I]; Crowned bust facing.

Reverse: [CIVI]/TAS/L[On/DOn]; Long cross with three pellets in each quadrant.

Diameter: 19.0mm. Weight: 0.85g. DA=12:10.
