Medieval finger-ring
Description
English: A medieval finger-ring consisting of a simple D-sectioned hoop, engraved with three tau crosses. The tau might signify devotion to St Anthony, who was recognised by this symbol.

The finger-ring is gold and dates from the fifteenth century. It has suffered some abrasion from its time in the ground.
