Title
Medieval to post-Medieval double-oval buckle
Description
English: A copper-alloy double-oval buckle of Late Medieval to early post-Medieval date.

The frame is now bent but would originally have had two symmetrical 'D-shaped' sides. The upper surfaces slope downwards and outwards, while the width increases towards the centre of each vertical side, where there is a pointed pin rest. The pin is missing. The surfaces are corroded. It measures 38.3mm long, 21.4mm wide and 3.6mm thick. It weighs 5.64g.
