Medieval to post-Medieval double-oval buckle
Description
English: A copper-alloy double-oval buckle, probably dating from the Late Medieval to early post-Medieval periods.

The frame is symmetrical, with two 'D-shaped' sides. The upper surfaces of the buckle are convex, the underside flat. The axis bar is of semi-circular section and the pin is missing. The buckle measures 21.3mm long, 18.6mm wide, 2.9mm thick and weighs 2.67g.
