Medieval to post-Medieval double-oval buckle
Description
English: A copper-alloy double-oval buckle of probable Late Medieval to early post-Medieval date,

A central axis bar divides the symmetrical buckle into two 'D-shaped' sides. The upper surface of the frame slopes downwards and outwards, the inner edges are vertical and the underside is flat. A pair of mouldings, at the top and bottom respectively, mark the points at which the axis bar meets the frame. The object measures 24mm long, 15.5mm wide, 2.5mm thick and weighs 1.43g.
