Medieval to post-Medieval double-oval buckle
Description
English: A copper-alloy double-oval buckle, probably dating from the Late Medieval to early post-Medieval periods.

The slightly damaged symmetrical buckle has two 'D-shaped' sides, separated by a central axis bar of triangular section. The inner edges of the frame are vertical, while the upper surfaces are wide and slope downwards and outwards. The buckle measures 39.4mm long, 31.5mm wide, 2.6mm thick and weighs 8.67g.
