Medieval to post-Medieval double-oval buckle
Description
English: A copper-alloy double-oval buckle, dating from the Medieval to post-Medieval periods.

The symmetrical frame has two 'D-shaped' sides, separated by a central axis bar of triangular section. The frame's upper surfaces slope downwards and outwards and there is an incised pin rest at the centre of either side.

Dimensions: 21.6mm long, 16.8mm wide, 2.5mm thick. Weight: 1.99g.
