Português: Descoberto ocasionalmente durante uma surriba de terras para plantação de um pomar, que hoje lhe é vizinho, este menir é o único monumento deste tipo no concelho de Penedono e um dos raros exemplares da região centro.
Consiste num grandíssimo monólito em granito, de configuração fálica e de superfície afeiçoada, com incisões de covas e de um motivo que foi identificado com a representação do sol. Quando foi encontrado apresentava cerca de três metros de comprimento, mas que os trabalhos de restauro prolongaram para cerca de cinco metros.
