DescriptionMerrion Square 03.jpg |
English: Statue named Éire in Merrion Square, Dublin. Originally intended as a memorial to the Kerry Poets and to be placed in Killarney, it was not finished in the sculptor's lifetime. Connor presented in October 1931 a scale model, at full scale it was ready for casting in 1932, but it wasn't cast until 1974.[1] |
