Čeština: Vodní hodiny na náměstí v Mikulově, Jihomoravský kraj. Postaveny v 90. letech 20. století, autorem je Nikos Armutidis. Vlastně kinetická socha. Autor fotografie ještě dílo zažil v chodu, později (snad ještě před zlomem tisíciletí) byly hodiny vandalizovány a dnes (2018) jsou již nefunkční tak dlouho, že mnozí návštěvníci města a dokonce i někteří místní obyvatelé je považují za "pouhé" stacionární umělecké dílo.
English: Water clock on the main square in Mikulov, South Moravia, CZE. Designed by Nikos Armutidis and built in the 1990s, it was meant to be a kinetic statue. The author of the photograph has actually witnessed the clock working, although it has been vandalized in a few years after its creation and by now (Sep 2018), most of Mikulov visitors and actually a lot of locals as well think that the structure is "just" a stationary piece of art. |
