Summary[edit]

Description
English: Miles Log Cabin (1853) IN Dotts Park, Corydon, Iowa. This log cabin was originally built and occupied by the William Miles Family in May 1853. This building was saved for the public once again in 1970 by a gift of $1,000, from the Corydon State Bank. These funds made possible the moving of the structure form the Walden park (1/3rd of a mile south), where it was to have been razed, to the Wayne County Historical Museum and also the needed Restoration work on the cabin.
