English: Handwritten on verso: Fort Vancouver, Washington. PH Coll 334 Hofsteater.2 Orlando M. Hofsteater was active in Vancouver, Washington from 1884-1899. He also worked in Portland, Oregon under several studio names from 1900-1925. While in Portland Hofsteater partnered with Thomas W. Patterson under the studio name of Hofsteater and Patterson in 1906.
