Description
English: Memorial Square in Vágur, Faroe Islands is a public park in the center of the village. There is a memorial in memory of people from Vágur, who lost their lives at sea. There is also an area here with flat stones, which used to be a place where they were drying fish in 19th and 20th century.
Føroyskt: Minnisvarðin í Vági er mitt í býnum. Trø og runnar eru rundan um, stakitt við portri á er niðri við høvuðsvegin, Vágsveg. Ein standmynd av kvinnu við róðri stendur ovarliga í lundini. Eystari í hesi viðarlundini er gamalt fiskapláss, eitt øki við fløtum steinum, har fiskafløk vóru løgt at turka fyrr í tíðini, seinast í 19. øld og fyrst í 20. øld.
