Notes The text has been re-sewn and rebacked. Due to this, it is difficult to determine whether the edges have been gauffered as well as gilt, but it does seem so. A. R. A. Hobson has attributed this binding to a Rome workshop he has called The Binder of the Cambridge Miscellany'. The pastedowns are gold varnish paper, gold flowers and foliage on a red background. There are 4 ties (new). There are 2 ink ms notes on the title page, one including the name Carolus Maimsbourg, canon (Tullensis) and an earlier note Collogii ? Soc Jesu.
