Description
English: Copper alloy

Pipe Tamper (finder’s identification). Cast object with round flat baluster-moulded end, and a spiked shank for engagement with a handle of different material (now lost). Substantial patina, though now much of this is lost due to abrasion. Suggested date: Modern, 1800-1900.

Length: 24.66mm, Width: 9.9mm, Weight: 3.31gms.
