Standort: Bayerische Staatsbibliothek München, Bildarchiv Angaben zum Objekt: Reprint nach einem Gemälde von Moritz Kellerhoven "Die Gräfin Josepha von Paumgarten (1762-1817), seit 1779 verwitwet, war musikalisch hochgebildet, sang selbst und nahm regen Anteil am Münchner Musikleben. Als Favoritin des Kurfürsten Karl Theodor hat sie sehr wahrscheinlich Einfluss auf die Verpflichtung Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts als Komponist der Münchner Karnevalsoper 1781 genommen. Mozart war bald nach seiner Ankunft in München ihr Gast, eingeführt durch seinen langjährigen Freund Christian Cannabich: „das ist das beste und Nützlichste hauß für mich, durch dieses ist auch alles wegen meiner Oper gegangen, und wird – will’s Gott, noch gehen“, schreibt er seinem Vater am 13.11.1780." |
