Summary[edit]
DescriptionMoseley Bog and Joy's Wood Local Nature Reserve - sculpture gates (8294698878).jpg |
This is Moseley Bog and Joy's Wood Local Nature Reserve in Moseley. JRR Tolkien lived near here as a child. It might have been the inspiration for the ancient forests in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. I accessed the bog from Yardley Wood Road. Trees in Moseley Bog. New sculpture gates from Yardley Wood Road. They were installed here recently I think. |
