The United Nations Develoment Programme has signed an agreement with the Venezuelan Government to assist in the expansion and the improvement of this School and to assist in the national planning of the training of engineers, in order to provide industry with specialized manpower. Le Programme des Nations UNies pour le Développement - dont l'UNESCO est l'agent d'exécution - a conclu un accord avec le Gouvernement vénézuélien en vue de l'expansion et de l'amélioration de cette Ecole dans le cadre du Projet national de formation d'ingénieurs qui prévoit de fournir à l'industrie la main-d'oeuvre spécialisée nécessaire.
