Description
Afrikaans: Mthonjaneni-hoogtes gesien vanaf die eMakhosini-monument, eMakhosini-vallei, noordelike KwaZoeloe-Natal. Die naam verwys na 'n fontein, vanwaar Dingaan se diensmeisies sy water gehaal het, 6 km van die ikhanda soos die kraai vlieg in die boonste grasveldgebied. Hier sou die Wenkommando ook op 20 Desember 1838 arriveer, om die ikhanda in vlamme te sien.
English: Mthonjaneni heights seen from eMakhosini Monument, eMakhosini valley, northern KwaZulu-Natal. The name refers to a fountain, from which king Dingane's maidens used to fetch his water, 6 km as the crow flies, from his ikhanda. It is situated in the upper grassland area. Here the Wen commando also arrived on 20 December 1838, seeing the ikhanda in flames.
