Description
Français : La construction du Mur du Souvenir, long de 25 mètres et haut de 1,50 mètre, a commencé en juillet 1997, sous une très forte chaleur pour s'achever fin août 1997. Le 13 septembre 1997, sous l'égide de POST 44, le Mur du Souvenir est inauguré en présence de Unités des 115ème et 116ème Régiments de la 29ème Division Infantery et 175ème, d'une soixantaine de vétérans américains de "l'association des vétérans de la 29ème Division d'Infanterie", mais également de nombreux habitants de la commune de SAINT-JEAN-DE-SAVIGNY
