Description
Español: Los habitantes de “El Salado”, en su mayoría católicos, solicitan al Arzobispado de Buenos Aires la construcción de una capilla en los terrenos donados por Doña María Amestoy de Ochoa. El templo se inaugura en 1882, frente a la plaza principal. Los oficios religiosos fueron atendidos por el párroco de Las Flores, Don Agustín de las Casas. La población crece, y se decide demoler la antigua capilla en 1910, para construir el nuevo templo, que se inaugura el 7 de diciembre de 1923, siendo su párroco José Fernández Núñez, un motor fundamental para su concreción. Hoy, la parroquia lleva el nombre de Inmaculada Concepción, patrona de los belgranenses.
