Description

O Museu Municipal Dr. José Formosinho localiza-se em pleno centro histórico da cidade de Lagos. Possui uma vasta colecção multidisciplinar em que se destacam os acervos arqueológico, etnográfico e artístico.


A Igreja de Santo António, belo templo barroco do século XVIII, integra-se no circuito da visita. Este museu, criado em 1930, tem por missão a investigação, conservação e divulgação dos testemunhos materiais e imateriais do Homem na área do Barlavento Algarvio, em especial do Concelho de Lagos, numa perspectiva regional, mas também os testemunhos de âmbito nacional e internacional que estão presentes nas suas colecções. <a href="https://museusdoalgarve.wordpress.com/about/camara-municipal-de-lagos/" rel="noreferrer nofollow">museusdoalgarve.wordpress.com/about/camara-municipal-de-l...</a>
