NARC-0DFB22 bow brooch roman
Description
English: A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman bow brooch. Enclosed wings have a central rectangular slot to accommodate the pin. The iron axis bar through the wings is corroded. The bow is triangular in cross-section. The wings are 24mm and the brooch, although incomplete, is 13mm long from the wings to the break. The top of the bow is 8mm wide, tapering towards the break.
