Description
English: NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 crew members, from left, Roscosmos cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Andreas Mogensen, NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, and JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Satoshi Furukawa acknowledge family and friends on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, outside of the Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Next, they will get into the customized Tesla Model X vehicles that will transport them to Kennedy’s Launch Complex 39A. SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft, powered by the company’s Falcon 9 rocket, will carry the four-person crew to the International Space Station as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. Crew-7 is scheduled to launch at 3:27 a.m. EDT.
