Description
Deutsch: Buche am Weg zum Schwimmbad, eine als Naturdenkmal geschützte Rotbuche (Fagus sylvatica) in Bad Heilbrunn, nordwestlich des Hauptorts am Weg zum Schönauer Weiher (Schwimmbad).
Gleich nach dem Eintritt in den Wald folgt eine Weggabelung (Foto 953). Der rechte Weg führt zum Schönauer Weiher. Wenige Meter nach der Gabelung steht am rechten Rand dieses Wegs eine große Buche, die sich durch die Mächtigkeit ihres Stamms von den umstehenden Fichten abhebt (dieses Foto 954) und die auch aus der Ferne durch ihre Höhe auffällt (Foto 956).
Da der Baum (wie die meisten Naturdenkmäler im Landkreis Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen) nicht mit dem grünen Dreieck gekennzeichnet ist, bereitet die sichere Identifizierung Schwierigkeiten.
